Thomley's Christmas Tree Farm formally known as Thomley's Santa Forest has been a part of the Oak Grove community for nearly 47 years.  It was back in January 1967 that Howard and Mamie Thomley began growing trees on the land that had been in the Thomley family for many years.

Today, their son Randy Thomley has taken over the farm and plans to continue a long standing tradition allowing many to come each year to enjoy a family outing to find the perfect Christmas tree for their home.  We grow three types of trees at our farm.  The Leyland Cypress is our most poplular and then we have the Virginia Pine, a strong scented good ole southern Christmas tree.  We also grow the Carolina Saphire.  In addition to the trees we grow we also bring in several sizes of Fraser Fir from North Carolina for those wanting something really different.

We can flock your tree white if your looking for that winter wonderland decor.  Wreaths and Garland are also another big item at our farm.  Customers place their orders early to insure delivery of fresh hand made wreaths and garland.

The Gift Shop has also been an attraction for many years with a great supply of Christmas decorations and gifts.  The farm has added a few new features over the years.  We now have livestock for families to enjoy including 4 horses, 2 goats, 1 Turkey, a Rabbit and chickens.

We have scheduled hay rides for School/church groups.  We have various displays throughout the farm providing photo opportunites for Christmas cards and memories.

Our season opens November 1st for those wanting the best selection.  You can come early and tag a tree to be picked at a later date.

We begin cutting trees the weekend before Thanksgiving.  Remember though, cutting them early requires a bit more attention to watering.

We want to thank everyone who over the years have been loyal customers.  This is a very special Christmas tree season for our family.  On January 8th of this year we lost a very important person in our life and in the Christmas tree community.  Howard Thomley passed away at the age of 80.  The season as well as hopefully many more to come will always be dedicated to his memory.
